My Mom and Dad are flooding..

My parents live on the Sacramento River in Red Bluff, CA....My mom just sent me a picture from your front door....Things are NOT looking good! PLEASE keep your fingers crossed they will all be safe out there! The water should be behind her house, not in driveway...It looks deep..Better go call my mother.

Road Trip...sorta kinda

We had barrowed a dog cage from Jim and Marcy to keep Bailey in, but it was now time to return it. We also had a bail of straw to pick up from their house. Some HS kids came over the the other night playing a game "Bigger or Better" from Liberty Hills. They got a bike from from Jim and gave them the bail of stray. They in turn gave the straw to me... Britt and I road the lawn tractor down the road to make the swap..Dad decided to tag alone...We needed room for Dad...so Britt got inside....It was SO fuuny! The smallest things are so FUNNY anymore...

Kirk was good to me this year. He bought me a great Nikon Camera,BUT I like larger ones so he was kind enought to let me return it, and pick out another one...I love Kodak...I have a few of them, a few Pentaxs, and a SLR Canon...Kodak rocks in my book...Its a MUCH better camera than my last one. I love real film the best, but I get more shots on this digital stuff...



This thing is FAST, zooms like crazy! Has a great grip and feels great to use.

I did it...SOLD.....Real Estate School!

Its Official....I am starting my new career next week. I set it up all on my own and I am so happy about it. I have been talking about doing it for years and even more for the past year...But today..I signed the papers, paid the fees and I start next week. I am so excited about this. I also start brokers classes right after sales agents classes....SO who knows, my own company one day??? The sky is the LIMIT!

I have a cousin in CA, Robert who started in this field when he was about 21-23 and he has owned his own very successful business for many years.

Many people have encouraged me to do this, with only one or two people saying its a waste of time, so THANK YOU to the people who support me. Wish me LUCK!

Kirk's Dream Girl

OK, so everyone knows Kirks always wanted a Wonder Woman Doll as a little boy.

BIG mistake telling anyone that because we enjoy giving him crap about it...We have bought him posters, and dolls now...

But Kibbles and Chuncks gave Kirk the funniest darn thing for Christmas. Chuncks(a.k.a. Jim) put a lot of work into it and Kirk LOVES IT! That family is the SILLIEST we have ever met!


It was in a black frame, so it matched my formal livingroom...SO....its out for all to see...! Thank you guys!

Yes, the days have been counted, the minutes have passed...and its here at LAST...The kids woke up at 6am (with the help of a HUGE storm). They woke Mom and Dad up and wanted to head down....They loved their gifts and said many thanks to the big guy SANTA. Later today I will be adding pictures from last night with Nana and Grandpa and today. My pictures from today will be on my NEW camera..Yes, thats right...My pictures will be MUCH better now....thank you KIRK

My GrandMothers Birthdays

Although both my grandmothers have passed away, I'd still like to say happy birthday to them both.

My Granny, Nadine's birthday was yesterday and she would have been 86 years old. Granny was my mothers mom. She passed away 29 years ago.

My Grandma, Maxine's birthday is today. She would have 87 years old. Gram was my Dad's mom, and she passed away just four years ago.

So Happy Birthday to you Both...

Tonight the 4th and 5th graders put on a really wonderful show.

With real American Christmas Songs! With real songs we all know and love. Some we had never heard, it was a North Carolina thing they said...It was so nice...Britt did a GREAT job and we are so proud of her! In the end, things got crazy...As a teacher was saying thank you....The fire alarms all sounded.The lights started flashing and it was CRAZY. Let me tell ya...That wasn't the end either...After we found Brittany, we headed to the the Scotchman for Britts fav "Bug Juice" and a treat...As we waited in line, Nick wasn't feeling so hot, and threw-UP all over the store...One more store on the list we can't return too, due to barfing!!! SO funny!

300-400 people forced to leave before the end of the night. WOW it was CRAZY!

So, on our way home I asked Kirk to pull over so Dra and I could walk home from the main road. Our land runs almost to the front of the enterance...Kirk slowed down as Dra and I got out..At the last minute, Kirk decided to drive across the few hundred feet to our land..I, me, MOM said NO KIRK...Noooooooooo...He zoomed across and sank in CRAP..REALLY CRAP...The empty land was four houses septic lines....and it HAD been raining....So guess what??? We sank in CRAP..Dra and I got out and said thats a crapper Dad...And walked home..We wanted to see How DRA WAY turned out..a 40-50 foot long ditch...."Dra Way"...Oh my how funny..Everyone around here as heard stories of me sinking the tractor, and the truck..running threw the woods messing up the paint....

..This time I had nothing to do with it....

Our neighbor Brian, also an a Marine on NR came to help out...Chevy to save the day...
