Our trip from San Diego to Red Bluff....

Big trouble, in a little town...

The "Troubled" girls of Red Bluff....WOW twice, in one year we are all together. Rose, Tiff,Steph and ME....Tiff was just in San Diego with Rob after her LAST year of college in RI. (Congtrats to her) Rose was in San Diego the week prior too...but we all know Rose....forgot to call..But we all love her anyway. It was great to see them all again and we laughed for over an hour, it was GREAT. I will miss them all so much!

On our trip north to Seattle, WA we stop to say hi to everyone in Red Bluff, CA This is my little brother Pooh.

We are on the move!!!!!

After the long wait....the mover are here, a day late but, they are moving our goods on the truck now. The kids are at the hotel on base with Nana waiting to leave for MN later today. We will head out of San Diego soon. Our trip will be long, but lots of FUN. Kirk and I are headed NORTH to Red Bluff first to say goodbye to my parents, Steph, Tiff, Pooh and to that good old town! After that we head even more NORTH to Mt. Vernon and Seattle, WA. We will stay there with Bill and Adea and see their new house they had built a couple years ago, after leaving Pensacola, FL. We will then head east at last to Forest Lake, MN to see the kids at Kirk's parents home. July 5th is Britts 9th birthday and we will surprise her when we show up. After a long rest for a day or two, we will then drive to our new town for the next few years! Jacksonville, NC...as Gunnars says," We are going back to his Home Land" he was born there in 97'. Around Aug-Sept our new home will be done and we will move in.... The kids will start back to school Aug 25 at REGULAR school..no more year round, thank goodness! Christian will start Jr High school in Dixon . Our area we will live in is called Dixon or Stump Sound, south of Jacksonville.( my sister lives in Dixon, CA, sorta funny). Britt and Gunnar will get to attend the same little school together. They are excited about getting to ride the school bus daily! As we find the internet along the trip we will update our site...who knows what we will see on the 4500+ mile drive and all in less than 10 days!

Update on the new house in Jacksonville...(Thanks Steph)

Here is the latest picture of our house in NC. Steph took this picture about three weeks ago. She went out yesterday(Tuesday) and said they had started the framing work now! Its beginning to look like a home! We are so excited to see the new work on it when we get there very soon!

Swenson trip to Magic Mt. Six Flag's

WOW, what a great time we all had. We all headed north to the park for our last outting before our move to NC. We stayed the entire day till they closed. Christian, Mom and Dad rode all the big coasters..Christian loved them. Britt and Gunnar went on a few smaller ones and had a blast! The park was not crowded so they rode rides all day without lines...NOTHING beats that!

The best part the kids said was that they got to miss a day of school...Go figure!

We have been having MANY MANY more earthquakes in the past few weeks....With only 12 days till we move out of CA, I hope we still have time!
