Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to the call. The house was very dark so the paramedic asked Kathleen, a 3-yr old girl to hold a flashlight high over her mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby. Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked. Heidi pushed and pushed and after a little while, Connor was born. The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom. Connor began to cry. The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-yr old what she thought about what she had just witnessed. Kathleen quickly responded, "He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place......whoop him again!"If you don't laugh at this one, there's no hope for you.

Happy 4th Birthday to Joshy!

Happy Birthday to my youngest nephew Joshy Wally! What a big boy he is. He is now in pre school and my sister has some free time after how many years????


We love you Wally and wish we could be at your party this weekend....Have a GREAT one!

Thank you all so much for coming and making this day so nice. The game was great, the food was better and the friends the best....It was great to have our friends over from the same street..Our area is our dream come true for our family....we all wave everyday but we are all so busy to stop and talk! So it was fun to sit back and relax...

Labor Day Fun

Ok, back to blogging about Labor Day..I was having blogging issues, AGAIN.... It was so much fun. Steph and Gage was so kind to invite so many of us Rutherford gangs toboat out to a "private" area. You can only get there by boat. The kids had a great time swimming, boating and tubbing. Kirk, Britt and Dra gave it all a try...Gunnar and I maybe next time. The food was great, Edit makes the best food...great salsa,yummy muffins and so on! Steph, Edit ,Trasor,Gunn a I went on a boating tour towards Swansburo...the homes on the way were breathtaking!

What a GREAT week!

So, this week has been WONDERFUL!

The kids had a great first week back to school. They all like the new teachers they have, so far. They are happy to see their friends again that they didn't get to see over the summer. Sports are moving slow, due to the rain(I'm not crying about that).

Kirk has had a very busy week, but a good one.Been doing great wioth our kids while I am working.. Busy with ERAU, college....What a smarty!

For me, well...I earned another listing on WED, and an entire SUBDIVISION today! That's right...57 homes, plus two more in Chadwick Shores...We,Lori and Coldwell Banker Sea Coast could not be any more pleased to have been picked over some other good companies. This week was great...An entire subdivision is a dream come true! Four months in, not bad.... Wow, need a house? I will be adding info about those 57 homes soon...Working out the upgrades and basics...57 listings in my name! Darn its hitting me as I type it. I am so thankful for going with the # 1 in Units sold each month in 06' and longer in Topsail,Wilmington,and Brunswick MLS's....
